Mr Low is responsible for managing UOB Alternative Investment Management's (UOBAIM) alternative investment fund-of-funds and advisory business. He has been the secretary of the United Overseas Bank’s (UOB) Investment Committee for more than 10 years. With experience in various investment management functions, he has been responsible for the Bank’s proprietary investment in private equity and hedge funds since 1998. Mr Low started his career at Hewlett Packard Singapore (Sales) as a Systems Engineer and later joined Bain & Company (Asia) Inc. as a consultant serving clients in Southeast Asia.

 

Mr Low has a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Nanyang Technological Institute, Singapore and a Master of Business Administration from the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD) in Fontainebleau, France.

 


Mr Goh leads the hedge fund manager research and supports the portfolio management activities. He has more than 10 years of experience in fund selection, most of which was focused on the management of fund of hedge funds. He was previously spearheading the Asian hedge fund research effort for EIM, a Swiss headquartered global fund-of-funds group, between June 2006 and May 2012 where he oversaw fund selection, due diligence and monitoring across a wide range of strategies. Mr Goh led the Asian research team and oversaw the firm’s allocations in the region.

 

Before EIM, he was at Lion Fairfield Capital Management, an Asian fund-of-hedge funds group where he was responsible for fund selection, due diligence and monitoring for hedge fund investments.

 

Prior to joining UOB Alternative Investment Management (UOBAIM), he was a Senior Research Analyst at GMG Global with responsibility for macroeconomic research and proprietary trading.

 

He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Major in Finance) from the National University of Singapore and holds the CFA Charter.

 


Ms Chua oversees operational due diligence and portfolio monitoring. She has more than a decade of experience in portfolio and operations administration at UOB Asset Management Ltd and UOB Venture Management Private Limited and was one of the Bank’s key team leaders responsible for the implementation of financial systems for the finance division.

 

Ms Chua has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne and has attained the Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.

 


Ms Wang has primary responsibility for operations and administration activities for UOBAIM. In addition, she also supports portfolio monitoring and operations diligence. Prior to joining the team, she was with UOB Group Finance & Corporate Services Division.

 

Ms Wang has a Master of Economics from National University of Singapore and has attained the Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.

 


Mr. Heng is responsible for UOBAIM’s business and product development efforts. Before joining UOB Alternative Investment Management, he was involved in product and business development with Mandiri Investment Management and Maybank Asset Management. He helped with funds development and distribution efforts, across both traditional and alternative asset classes. Prior to that, he was with Preqin, a data solutions company specializing in alternative asset classes, and a single family office.

 

Mr. Heng holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree (Major in Banking & Finance and Minor in Economics) from Nanyang Technological University.

 


Ms Ng is responsible for administrative and operations support. Prior to joining the team, she was with the Planning and Support Services and Business Finance teams, supporting the global businesses of UOB’s Global Markets and Investment Management business segment.

 

Ms Ng has a Diploma of Business Administration from PSB Academy, Singapore.
